Welcome to the table.
Hospitality that nourishes.

Making room for joy, beauty, and connection.
Ways to gather

Celebrations
Weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, showers, and all the moments worth celebrating together.

Sunday Suppers
Seasonal dinners, shared tables, collaborations, and pop-ups — all in the spirit of good food and community.

And Beyond
Retreats, weekends away, destination gatherings, and the occasional adventure that takes Scarlet Runner on the road.
What matters here
Keep it close.
We source as close to home as we can, choosing small farms, local producers, and independent businesses first. The season leads the way, because the best food starts with what's growing right here, right now.
Make it from scratch.
We cook from the ground up, using real ingredients and making as much as we can with our own two hands.
Take care of people.
Hospitality should nourish the people creating it just as much as the people experiencing it. Seems only fair.

Pull up a chair
Scarlet Runner first opened its doors in 2011, built around a simple love of seasonal food, local farms, and bringing people together around a table.
After ten years of cooking, catering, and growing Scarlet Runner, I closed the business. What I thought might be the end turned out to be a much-needed pause — one that gave me time to remember why I loved doing this in the first place.
Five years later, Scarlet Runner is back — with a renewed sense of purpose and rooted more deeply than ever in the things that have always mattered: good food, good people, and hospitality that takes care of everyone it touches.
It feels really good to be back at the table.

The kitchen
Our menus shift with what's local and in season, made from scratch each time. Here's a sense of what that looks like.
Spring · Summer · Autumn · Winter · Vegan

Dreaming up a gathering?
We'd love to hear about it.
